Subtotals within P&L Structure

Dear all,

I am new to this forum and am hoping I am doing it the right way.

Atm I am trying to build a P&L report with several issues. I got a line structure for setting P&L lines which is structured by COEP Lines (direct filled by cost elements / Accounting data) and different levels of Subtotals likes Net Sales / Gross Profit / COGS and also lower level subtotals....It is a parent child hierarchy, because it is the only way I know how to get all elements in one column....

I know that I cannot get these subtotals in the same report like the coep lines as these must be measures.... The measures must be calculated differently by column typ. All are calculated by the lines above, e.g. IF3009 is the sum of IF3000 - IF3004. IF 3059 is the sum of IF3050 to IF3051. IF 3099 is the sum of IF3009+IF3059. What I want to say, not all elements are calculated by the same logic but I want to calculate the as easy as possible, maybe in one "Amount " measure if possible. Is there any idea to get it in a SWITCH Formula? I am really a beginner in that kind of DAX Topic....Could anyone please help me?  Al

        Hello

Thanks for the share. It probably helps for the structure. But the Totals like "Gross Profit" are not available in the Fact Table. They need to be calculated.... Fact Table Data is only available for the Typ " COEP" Elements. All other elements need to be calculated.

Is it possible to have measures and facts in one column in visualization from DAX ? This is the main goal... Or do you know a good visualisation with this capabilities?

        Hi Anonymous

for short , no. Measures or fields in visual will take up a full column.

But you can control the measure to return the fact value.

I recommend use martix table visual .

        Best Regards
