Hi All! How I can create a standalone filter? In order to: use it on all measures; edit it once in one place. Thx.
- 8 years agoIt is not possible to create a Variable or Filtered Context and use it in multiple Measures instead, create a separate table filtered from the source data according to need and than use all the measures based on that table.

Is this so that you can set the slicer once and filter the whole report? You need report level slicers I believe. Watch this short video and let me know how you get on. https://youtu.be/CuT5Wtld_iU
Thanks

Nope, I talking about standalone filter code.
For example:
1. Many aggregate measures have a one filter:
VAR FILTER1 = FILTER(VALUES(Table1); USERPRINCIPALNAME() = Table1[EMail])
2. I want to edit it
3. I have to edit every measure
I want to edit it once in one place. The problem is, I can't keep a standalone filter on an measure.
