Stacked Column by Shift and Date

Hello! Firstly, and most frustrating, I cannot share what I am working on with the information in it. However, I can summerize what I am doing quite well.

Attached is how I am tracking the total moves by day. (easy enough)

It is using Excel columns for the date, and the quantity of each move on that date. I would like to divide each column by Shift, and already have a column identifying which move was made by which shift ready to go. My problem is that I cannot make the chart divide each day by shift and still show the daily total.

I need the chart to be similar to above where the total for the day is tracked, but also divided by the shift.

Thanks for any help!

  • Hi Sansai,

I need the chart to be similar to above where the total for the day is tracked, but also divided by the shift.

In this scenario, you can the Line and stack column chart to show total as Column values, and divided by the shift as Line values on the same chart. :smileyhappy:

I actually stumlbed on this earlier when cleaning up a different chart. It isn't the cleanest solution, but it provides the data at least.
