Stacked Area chart

Hi there,

Can someone please advise on why the lesser amount is showing above and the higher amount showing under?  I am using a calendar table I created for this and showing the Month Year option on this stacked area chart...please advise.

  • Are you using 1 or 2 axis?   if you are using 2, rather drag the other on onto the primary axis and maybe that will help because they might be every so slightly misaligned.

can you screen shot what you have placed on our visual in this place?

If that doesnt work then you will probably need to show your data differently if the values are similar, area chart is not  always good for that.  Maybe a line chart with more distinct colours between the 2.   Maybe a bar chart comparing 2 bars?

because as the chart is called it stacks on top of each other, use area  chart if you want it relative to it lining up, not the stacked area chart.

With the area chart it doesnt show the difference visually as the the stacked was showing two differnt one...there is no way to sort it by the higher amount??
