Specified cast is not valid

Hi,

 

I made a simple column based calculation 'ordered qty' * 'actual price'. Trying to visualize this, I get a message 'specified cast is not valid'. See below printscreen. Both fields are numeric fields and located in one table.

 

Please help!

    More details will be much helpful.

    Which data source and which connctor do you use?

    In addition, if it is convenient, could you share the data sample which could reproduce the scenario so that we could have a test on it.

    Besides, please check if you have installed the latest version of power bi desktop.

      Data source is an Oracle database and I use direct query to access the data. It woul be helpful if you could advise how I should share an example set of the data with you, since we are only allowed to share data with persons with by email address. I cannot upload data here by means of excel.
