Sorting by Date (M/D/YYYY)
I am unable to sort date by year in slicer. The problem is when i am clicking on dropdown there date is showing month wise for both years 2017 and 2018 together. so i want the year 2017 should come first before year 2018.. Hope you understand my query

Check your data type, it's probably text rather than date
Anonymous If you want to retain the same format in the slicer (i.e. MMDDYYYY) then use the "Sort by Column" option to sort this field on the proper date format.
