Slicer Options
Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible use a slicer to select all records with a partial word. For example please see attached screenshots.
I have a list of names and rows worth of data. I would like to filter on that list and start typing "cat" and then select all results with "cat" in the name.
Is this an option for a slicer?
Thanks!
Hi NBOnecall ,
If you click on top of the slicer on the 3 dots you can active the search option for the slicer then you can write what you want on the slicer:
If you leave this option active when publishing the users can use it.
Following the option given by parry2k you have several ones like:

But on the search and drop down, there isn't a select all function. I would have to go through and indivdually click each one. This isn't the solution I was hoping for.

MFelix The second option you linked, Text Filter, is the best solution to this I believe. Though you can't deselect ones you don't want it will allow me to get most of the ones I want in my case. The other downside though is that it doesn't sync between pages in the pbix file, oh well.
Thanks!
