Show Up/Down arrow as Indicators
Hi All,
I want to show KPI in my card. But I am manually updating my data. So I don't have any last value. SO how can I show Indicator in my card?
Example:
If I have one column named "Total", after half an hour I am manually updating my dataset. So I lost what value existed.
My data is following...
Total(Old)
23554
22170
3356
44551
After I manually update my dataset data I am fetching below;
Total(New)
23560
22156
3356
44651
Now I want to add a new column in PBI dataset, it will show me indicator If the value gets increased that up arrow if the value gets decreased then Down arrow and value in neutral then it will show nothing.
Thanks,
Jay

hi jaypatel
It couldn't achieve in power bi for now.
For your case, you will update the your data not add new data in the datasource,
when you refresh the dataset, you will lose what value existed, so it could not compare the difference between old and new data.
So you'd better use two columns instead of one column in datasource.

In conditional formatting there is an option for icon.

But as I have mentioned, I don't have any past values. And I have tried with Conditional formatting, As showed there, the user can formatting based on "Percentage" or "Number". I don't have any range for that conditional formatting.

Instead of one column, use two columns. Put the old information in one and the new information in the other. I don't understand how you expect the KPI visual to know about data that you overwrote...
