Shared drive data refresh

Hi All,   I have a excel located in my share drive and every day it will update by the user. I need to get the updated data every day from this file to my report.   Could any one please suggest ...

    Hey,
    1) You can move that file to one of your teams page folder on share point or one drive

    2) you can use the same link to create connection on power bi desktop using Sharepoint or one drive connector.

    3) once done then you can use publish your report to power bi service.

    4) for sharepoint, You do not require a gateway to refresh so you can directly setup refresh as per your requirement.

Adding to the above solution, after publishing the report you can also
Enable Scheduled Refresh:

  • Go to Power BI Service → Dataset Settings → Scheduled Refresh.
  • Set the frequency as per your requirement
