As far as I know, there is no such option to show only selected labels on the line chart currently. I would suggest you add it as an idea on Power BI Ideas forum to improve Power BI on this feature. :smileyhappy:

Could you please drop a link to your suggestion, I've just run into the same issue!
I ended up voting up a couple of existing ones.
My favorite is a more general call for more control over data labels:
It was at 89 votes last time I checked
