Selecting multiple counties on filled map
Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue selecting multiple counties at the same time to be displayed on the filled maps visual. My data is regarding counties in Texas and the school districts (ISD) associated with each county. In my data when just one county needs to be shown it works fine, but when I need 2 or 3 counties selected at the same time it highlights the entire state of Texas rather than selecting the counties. Not sure how to fix this or why power bi messes up with this issue. Again, when just one county is selected it works fine but multiple makes it glitch and select the whole state. Here are some pictures for y'all to see, if you need me to show more let me know.

LeGoat what is the date category of county column? Set it to place and see if it works.

It is set to county, when I set it to place it seemed work with some of the data but it also threw off a lot of the other counties. Lots of the counties are now being shown in the wrong place, so this did not work.

If this post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly.None of this really helped mainly becuase my problem occurs with multiple counties being selected at the same time which causes it to select the whole state rather than the individual counties.
