Security not showing

When I click the options for the datastore in powerbi online the secuity option does not show, any help?

    Not all data sources support Security, for example, content packs from third-party vendors. What is your data source (type)?

      Thanks for replying, its our own Database using input mode and on premises gateway.

        its our own Database using input mode and on premises gateway.

        Do you mean that you import the data from your database using Power BI Desktop, then publish it to the service and use on premises gateway for that data source?

         

        If that is the case, then it's a little weird. The Security option should be available for data sources that we import or connect to via DirectQuery. And I have checked it on my side, the Security option is still available for all corresponding datasets on my Power BI Service.

         

         

        In addition, does this issue happen to a specific dataset or all datasets on your Power BI service?:smileyhappy:
