Return date from slicer

    Hi some_analyst 

     

    Did you use the same column in your slicer as in your measure? And is visual interaction enabled between the slicer and the card?

i am not sure, but your DAX should be good.

unless if you did not select any date in slicer, then it would be return as blank.

Thanks Irwan , I am really confused because I have the selected date

 

 

and the formula is this: 

Slicer Select Week Start Date = 
SELECTEDVALUE(Date_DIM[Week Start Date])

 

This date slicer filters the rest of the dashboard, just not this measure, there is definitely data there. I have no clue

      Thanks danextian , that is what it was: it was set up as a calculated column, and not a measure 🙂
