retrieve specific data set from my sql source db


POWER BI ; I'm trying to retrieve a limited data set from multiple tables after connecting to mysql db.

These tables have millions of records  and they are all connected to each other. While I select tables in getdata step it does not allow be to filter which data set I'm interested in rather it tries to bring all the data or bring 1k records. My requirement is to bring only selected data for Example from a table I'm interested in getting data for a specific account or region. Once I bring specific data I can construct a report out of it. Please help me here thanks in advance.

    smt2022 , You can control data using M parameter in import mode and using dynamic M parameter in direct query mode.

    You also use incremental settings to load only small data in dev instance and load more on service
