Power BI doesn't have a direct "hide this specific column group header" toggle, but you can make "Quarter Halves" disappear cleanly.
Best Workaround (Recommended):
- Select your Matrix visual.
- In the Visualizations pane, go to Format your visual (paint roller icon).
- Expand Column headers.
- Under Text color, set it to the same color as your report page background (usually white or whatever your background is). → This hides the text "Quarter Halves" while keeping the sub-headers ("First Half" / "Second Half") visible.
- (Optional but cleaner) Also in Column headers:
- Set Background color to match the page background as well.
- Adjust Font size if needed.
Alternative Options:
- Rename the field in the Columns area of the visual to a single space (" ") or multiple spaces. Sometimes this removes or minimizes the header text.
- If you want to hide all column headers (including First/Second Half), go to Column headers → toggle Column headers Off.

The first solution didn't work because it made all the text colors white (Quarter Havles, First Half, Second Half, Fiscal Year, %, and Count). The alternative with renaming it for the visual with a space worked though. Thank you.
