Remove "..." from data labels
Hello, ever since a relatively recent update (early this year?), data labels inside bar charts now show as "..." when the value is too large to display. This is happening on even old dashboards that I published before this update.
I want to turn this off so that when I have data labels inside bar charts, they show nothing (instead of "...") when there's not enough room to display the value, but they still show the value when there is enough room.
Is there a way to do this?

If this was of value to you before the change then you could classify that as a bug.
If you have a Pro license you can open a Pro ticket at https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/newsupportticket/powerbi
Otherwise you can raise an issue at https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues .If you want them to consider offering alternatives, you could classify it as an idea. Consider voting for an existing idea or raising a new one at https://ideas.fabric.microsoft.com

I tried samples with large data gaps and failed to reproduce your problem. You can adjust the units in the data label:

The issue I'm having only occurs when the data labels are positioned "inside" the bar and the bar is relatively narrow. Here is an example:
It also unfortunately does the below sometimes, when it decides that the bar is wide enough to show some numbers but not the whole value:
I want to be able to have the data labels show if there IS enough room for the full value (such as the 900 for C above), but just show nothing if there's not enough room. This is how data labels used to behave but the behaviour changed recently.
