Can you explain to me when i need to use a MANY to MANY relation or a 1 to MANY relation ?

A one to many relationship between a dimension and fact table are usually considered best practice. Many to many relationships can sometimes be used to remove the need for a creating a dimension table with unique values, but should generally be avoided when possible.
