Relationships

Hi guys,

Fairly new to PowerBi and Databases so forgive me.

I've got two tables (Costs and Sales) and I would like to show in one table on the dashboard, the 'Cost' and 'Sell Price' of each item however, I can't get the relationship working. It either duplicates, creates more rows or returns blank cells.

Any ideas? Please let me know if you need anymore information.

Shows all info from Costs Table:

What happens when i insert 'Sell Price' from the Sales Data:

That is what I suspected. As you are doing basic table visual, it should be easy.

Can you create silo tables for Project No, customer name and then do the relationships?

      Like star schema!
