Reduce size
Hi All,
can anyone suggest me how to reduce my dataset? My .pbix is nearly 1 GB and I am using SQL server, import mode.
Thanks&Regards,
MANI DEEP.
Hi manideep547 ,
You could create a view in your sql server based on useful columns. If your file size is still big, you could try direct query mode. it will not save your data in pbix file.

Hi manideep547
Identifying unused columns can be a lot of work. I created PBI Spy to to make it a lot easier to do this.
In minutes it can show you which columns, hierarchies and measures can be safely removed.
Give it a try at www.pbispy.com
