Solved

reading null date value

I'm trying to get a new column created where i will have a status based on the date in a column....

My formulas look like this:

=if [TARGSTARTDATE] < DateTime.LocalNow() then "Needs Rescheduled"

else if [TARGSTARTDATE] >= DateTime.LocalNow() then "Scheduled"

else if [TARGSTARTDATE] = null then "No date"

else "Not"

Problem is for the records where the date is "null", i get an error instead of the "No date" like i want...

Any help would be appreciated.

    The column is a Date data type and it is expecting a date...

    I think i solved the issue by creating a new column with the date difference between todays and that date... if its 0 then label as No date...

    Thanks

  • Why not let the value remain Null and change it in the Query editor by replacing the "meaning" of null?

    Click on Edit Query, Home, Replace Values and then replace the value "null" with "No Date"

    PS: you have to select the column where you want this change to happen
