Range Maximum and Minimum Value by category

Hi ...

I have an issue with the Y-axis range for maximum and minimum.

For now, I use the below measure to get the maximum value by category. However, I facing an issue when using it in a different chart.

Max Amount by Category =
// Get Max Value by Category

VAR _maxx = MAXX(
    SUMMARIZE(d_category,d_category[Description]),
    CALCULATE(
        MAX(fin_mpr[Amount]),
        REMOVEFILTERS(d_category[Description])
    )
)

VAR _Add = _maxx * 0.25

RETURN
_maxx + _Add

For info, I have multiple line charts with different slicer categories (multiple pages).
The maximum and minimum should follow which category (slicer). Different cart has a different value.

When I use the above measure, the range gives me the maximum value from the table and does not follow the category I selected.

Your help us highly appreciated.

Regards,

NickzNickz

  • Hi,

    Shouldn't the Y-axis values adjust automatically to the slicer selection?  Why would you need a measure to adjust the Y-axis values?

      Basically, I created two charts (same info) 1 is used for static (disable interactions with the slicer) and the other one has interactions with the slicer. If I click the slicer, the range will not change for both charts.

        I can understand the Y-axis range not updating on the static chart.  But for the dynamic one should respond to the slicer selection.
