Prod Workspace Usage Report Semantic Model Update Issue

I downloaded the new usage report from power bi production workspace, but after adding new kpis to it and publishing it. I can't see that is being updated.
I can't even revert it. Please guide me if it is possible to delete that exisiting semantic model of power bi for usage report and whether it is possible to resolve conflict or restore default version of semantic model of usage report.

If this is the Power BI Usage Metrics report, I would be a little careful about deleting the existing semantic model. The Usage Metrics report has some dependencies on its underlying model, so deleting it may leave the report unusable rather than simply restoring it to the original state.
Since you downloaded the report, made changes, and then published it back to the workspace, the safer approach is to republish the original downloaded PBIX to the same workspace and overwrite the existing report/semantic model. That should bring it back to the state it was in before the KPI changes.
If you still have the original PBIX, I'd try that before deleting anything. Also, the usage data itself is generated by Power BI, so changing the report layout/KPIs doesn't necessarily mean the underlying usage data will refresh immediately.
If you no longer have the original PBIX, I'd check the workspace for the semantic model associated with the Usage Metrics report first rather than deleting it directly. There isn't really a normal "restore previous version" option for the semantic model in this scenario.

Power BI Usage Metrics report or semantic model is a Microsoft managed one which is not meant to be edited or republished which is why your changes are not reflecting and why revert is not working.
You can delete your customized version from workspace. Once deleted, Power BI Service will automatically regenerate a default Usage Metrics report or semantic model where next time it is needed in short refresh cycle restoring it to default.
If you want your custom KPIs then approach is to create separate report with usage dataset or a copy of it instead of modifying built in
one

If this is the built-in Usage Metrics Report, deleting the Usage Metrics semantic model is actually one of Microsoft’s documented reset options.
Microsoft’s current guidance for resetting the Usage Metrics Report semantic model says to delete the existing Usage Metrics semantic model when the model is stuck or an older version is causing problems, then create/open the usage metrics report again so Power BI can build a fresh model.
Before doing that, I would save a copy of your modified report if you want to keep the KPIs you added.
Then I would:
- Keep the customized report/PBIX as a backup.
- Delete the Usage Metrics Report semantic model from the workspace.
- Open Usage Metrics again from the report/workspace so Power BI recreates the model.
- Confirm the fresh default report is updating normally.
- Reapply your custom visuals or KPIs to a copied version rather than modifying the generated report directly.
