Advocate IIIProblem with MySQL connector.
Hello,
I was trying to use the MySQL connector from power bi desktop but it was giving me the following error message.
Learn more takes me to the MySQL driver download oracle site which I've already done to create ODBC connection.
I re-installed it but still PBI Desktop is giving me this message.
Can somebody tell what else I need to do to use this? Right now to satisfy the management, I'm using MySQL through ODBC dsn but why use ODBC where Power BI has the direct connector right?

I refer to the following blog and video. After installing the MySQL connector, you need to restart Power BI Desktop or restart the computer.

Yes I already have that installed that, PBI Desktop is still not detecting unfortunately.
