To use grouping, select two or more elements on a visual by using Ctrl+click to multi-select elements. Then, right-click one of the multi-select elements and select Group from the menu that appears. If you need to create a measure to get total sales for per region, you can use DAX below.
Total sales per region=CALCULATE(SUM(Data[sale]),FILTER(ALLSELECTED(Data),Data[Region]=MAX(Data[Region])))
