Problem with formula editor

Hi Team,

Not sure if anybody experienced that but when I write DAX formulas in formula bar and when I hit Shift+Enter to go to second line, everyhting goes black, instead of color formatting formula bar has.

This is standard look:

This is when I hit Shift+Enter. And even I finish whole syntax and it is correct and hit Enter to confirm, Power BI does not do anything. Is it related to some settings in Power BI Desktop?

  • Hi Anonymous ,

It is by design and no extra settings, It is checking the integrity of the formula.

  • Hi, Anonymous
This happens to me as well, but as soon as I finish the measure (with return keyword etc) with correct syntax everything gets coloured again.
