PowerBI Report server Issue

Hi All,

I have developed dashboard which is data source as from Oracle database tables after successfully uploaded into PowerBI report server, i could not able to view the dashboard visuals everything showing as data connection error.

note: in report server->manage ->data source -> if i enter my data base credentials it's not accepting (but in powerbi desktop it's accepting and loading all the oracle tables)

Kindly help to view the dashboard.

Thanks in advance

  • Hi Varan_15 - Can you check the Report Server logs for any specific error messages related to the Oracle data source connection. The logs can provide detailed information about what might be going wrong. The logs are typically located in the \LogFiles directory under the Report Server installation path.

    check the logs files.

        Hi Varan_15 ,

You need to download the gateway and create a connection in this gateway for this purpose. You can try following this tutorial:Manage your data source - Oracle - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

        Hope it helps!
