Postgresql connection using ODBC

Hi,

I dont  how to connect postresql live db using ODBC.Tired to connect using ODBC but after publishing to power bi service the data is not refreshing automatically in service .can anyone help with sharing the link to connect postgresql using ODBC.

 

Did ODBC support live conncection?

How to connect Postgresql using ODBC?

Did ODBC need gateway setup?

How to setup gateway for ODBC ?

Did i needto setup anything in power bi service for ODBC?

    Did ODBC support live connection?

    No, it doesn't support live connection directly.

     

    How to connect Postgresql using ODBC?

    Using the ODBC connector. 

     

     

    Did ODBC need gateway setup?

    Yes.

     

    How to setup gateway for ODBC?

    Please refer to the snapshot below. If it's a gateway (personal-mode), you just need to update the credential). If it's the other gateway, you need to add a data source in the Gateway settings. Please refer to the snapshots below.

    Yes, set up the gateway information.
