  • Hi,

Is this about the pie chart in Service or Power BI desktop? I tested a similar one on my desktop file and i'm not seeing the same issues you have. If this is on desktop file, which version are you with now?

Both desktop and service too and desktop version is - 2.149.
and even its not about the too many categories,
i tried with the top 5 or 6 category even though same issue.

  • Khushboobarai , That looks a little strange. I tried on the latest version, but I do not see the issue. But try two settings

Prefer outside and overflow Text -on

        Hi Khushboobarai

Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Fabric community forum.

Update Power BI Desktop to version 2.161 or later and see if the issue persists. Make sure the visual isn’t set to auto-size or responsive layout, and specify a minimum width and height to keep label space. Use the “Category, value” label style instead of all detail labels. If problems continue, try donut charts with smart labels or use bar charts for small categories, as pie charts can be unpredictable with dynamic filtering. These updates and adjustments should help stabilize your labels and prevent shrinking during interactions.
