pbix as source

Hi

is it possible to have a pbix as source to other pbix?

the idea is to manipulate a pbix and obtain a table on it from many other sources and after that to use it in a new pbix which in this way will be smaller and use less resources

    Hi cosminc,

     

    As rafaelmpsantos said, Power BI does not support use pbix as datasource currently. You could vote this idea in here.

     

     

    In addition, we could connect to datasets in the Power BI service from Desktop.

    No at this way it is not possible.

    When i need this, i use some R script to export the created table to a csv file.
