Parameter is not the correct type
Hello,
I want to create a DAX measure in Power BI that simply multiplies values from the "Norm" table and "ProjCount" table without using any aggregation functions like SUM, MIN, MAX, or AVERAGE, bcs if i use aggregation functions, i wont get the function, what im trying to achieve is:
this is my DAX Formula
MultiplicationResult =
SUMX(
VALUES(ProjCount[MonthCount]),
RELATED(Norm[Duration]) * ProjCount[Weight(MT)]
)the error are on Norm[Duration] & ProjCount[Weight(MT)]

According to your description, here are my steps you can follow as a solution.
(1) My test data is the same as yours.
(2) We can create measures.
Measure = MAX('Norm'[Duration]) * MAX(ProjCount[Weight])MultiplicationResult = SUMX( VALUES(ProjCount[MonthCount]), [Measure] )(3) Then the result is as follows.
If the above one can't help you get the desired result, please provide some sample data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples. It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. Thank you.

You can create a small sample without sensitive data with the needed logic, save it on some kind of drive, and share a public link.Hi butterscotch ,
