norm.s.inv error
I have a data table with following columns:
Unique Id, Type, Defects, Opportunities
I have created a table with values: type, unique id (count distinct), defects (sum), opportunites (sum)
I want to create a sigma level measure but everytime I add it i get an error. The formula is:
Error Message:
MdxScript(Model) (9, 58) Calculation error in measure 'Data'[Sigma Level]: An argument of function 'NORM.S.INV' has the wrong data type or the result is too large or too small. If the argument is expected to be a date, that date must be between March 1, 1900 and December 31, 9999.
Hi Anonymous ,
I reproduced your problem.
Here's my sample data.
So the reason for the error is that the function return value is too large or too small.
If probability <= 0 or if probability >= 1, NORMS.INV returns the #NUM! error value.
