No error message available, result code: E_UNEXPECTED(0x8000FFFF).

Hi All,

 

I'm getting an error "External table is not in the expected format". I already researched in the community and checked every possible solution but I can't have it fixed on my end. 

 

I already tried changing my data source but I keep on getting the same error. There are also times wherein I get this error: "No error message available, result code: E_UNEXPECTED(0x8000FFFF)."

 

Also, when these errors ran my Excel File (my data sources) are getting File In Use error.

 

My file is working perfectly fine a few days then today when I refreshed it, this happened. Any solutions? Please help. Thank you!

    All good now. It seems like that all of these errors are due to my Excel File type- I am using XLSB file then converted it to XLSX, though it's weird that it was working smoothly for like almost a month and just now it wasn't.
