negative value in bracket
after calc:after calc
before calc:before calc
I notice the value after calc is in a bracket, does that mean it is negative and why it's giving me a bracket than negative sign?
Hi Anonymous
It seems some standard accounting way to show negative numbers in parentheses. If you don't like it, based on my test, you can set the format as "$ Afrikaans(Namibia)" which has the same US dollar sign and indicates negative with a "-".
You can custom a decimal number in more ways by using FORMAT.

Hi Anonymous,
That has to do with the format of currency, as you refer negatives are with brackets, this can be changed on the Model visualization chosing the custom formatting on the current PBI version you can make the change directly on the formatting of the column/measure, to other format like in excel.
