Need help
Excel file which is in one drive when i connect this excel file to power bi desktop and published to power bi service. Will data refresh happen automatically when excel file is getting refreshed by macros?
But here, i have taken excel file from one drive and created reports in desktop and published using service.but the dashboard is not refreshing hourly and only i can refresh once in a day ( am using Power BI free)

Hi kalpana,
Yes, the dataset will update the data hourly by default for the onedrive file datasource. It uses information in the dataset to connect directly to the data sources to query for updated data it then loads into the dataset.
