Need help with KPI Visual

Hello, I need help in creating the KPI visual. I need it to reflect the filtered month/months data of the current year then the comparison is on that month/months of the previous year.

Anonymous , You can try a measure like for last year same month

 

last year MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-12,MONTH)))
Previous year Month Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),previousmonth(dateadd('Date'[Date],-11,MONTH)))
last year MTD (complete) Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(ENDOFMONTH(dateadd('Date'[Date],-12,MONTH))))

Hello amitchandak , I have done the measures. Which of the three measures can I use as the value and target for the KPI visual? I tried inputting it to any of those but the data becomes blank once I use the date slicer. What I wanted to see was if I select a month (ex. March 2024), it would show the value for that month and the comparison or the target is the sales for March 2023 which is the same month but from the previous year.
