Missing ribbon search
As the ribbon search has never shown since updates last year, i recently did a Dashboard in a day training (thank you Fusion5) even in the manual for course said search in search bar. I said, What search bar? I don't have one even thought I updated 2 days ago to latest
Anyone else had this problem?
Is there a way to turn it on / off?

In this prior post, Anonymous suggests that it's only available for the English (United States) region.

It seems like it should have been extended to additional regions over the last year+ but you may want to check if changing regions works.

The only search I know of are the search bar in the fields panel and the search field you can turn on in a slicer.

😞 how do I get it? I did an unistall and fresh download , even in Windows settings on App, repair/reset still dont work? see it is missing

I searched for search and ribbon and missing etc but your link did not show. In all the open chat blogs YouTube etc about the new Ribbon Search, nowhere did I read Application, needs to be set to Global regional English USA.
Perhaps, it is time I started making General tips for others.
