Helper IIIMissing option "Layout"?

Unfortunately, there's no built-in option to selectively modify which axis labels are shown. If the bar is present, the label will also be displayed—except in cases where there isn't enough space, in which the engine automatically hides some labels, especially on a categorical axis.
However, there is a workaround using data labels and conditional formatting to achieve a similar effect. The final result will look like this:
Note: This solution is only applicable to column charts, not line charts.
I've attached a PBIX file for reference. If needed, I can record a screen tutorial on how to implement it.

I am a aware of x-axis being categorical or continuous, and I have played around with it, without finding the settings. Maybe it was a bad example. I also have this line chart, accourding to chatGPT there should be settings for how many labels appear on the axis, but I cant find anything like that.

As I mentioned in the previous response you should prepare the data according to your needs.
