I have power bi desktop ver 2.99.862.0

I only have the following 3 options on my ribbon  " File Home Help". How do I get the insert option?

I was on the model view instead of the report view.

  • Anonymous aha! that makes sense. Power BI is notorious when you are on different views, I hope soon we will have consistency regardless of what views we are at. cheers!!

    Hi Anonymous ,

Go to the Report View. The insert option will come out.

This is because the insert option is normally used to insert visuals and other elements.
