Measure
Hi!
I have a measure (not a calculated column because I saw it doesn't work to filter the calculated column based on another filed of a different table form the one in which I created that calculated column) and I can't give to a cell a certain value through this function:

I just have to put into a matrix that has a named row which value is blank, a value calculated trough a measure. I have calculated the measure but I'm UNABLE to associate that measure to a specific blank row. I tried if(expression that idetifies the row; function that rapresents the value I want to give to that row), but didn't worked.

Hmm... For example:
If I have the dax measure:
if(rows[cell]="x";1;2) i can see 1 as value of my matrix on row where row[parent]="m"
while if I have:
if(rows[cell]="x";CALCULATE(sum(values[value]);
filter(rows;rows[parent]="fff");FILTER(rows;rows[child]="rrr");FILTER(columns;columns[parent]="aaaa"))) I see nothing on row[parent]="m"even ifCALCULATE(sum(values[value]);
filter(rows;rows[parent]="fff");FILTER(rows;rows[child]="rrr");FILTER(columns;columns[parent]="aaaa")) is giving me the correct number if I put it on a matrix without any rows or columns.- v-joesh-msft

Hi Anonymous ,
For the formula:
CALCULATE(sum(values[value]);
filter(rows;rows[parent]="fff");FILTER(rows;rows[child]="rrr");
FILTER(columns;columns[parent]="aaaa")),
you applied the condition rows[parent]="fff", so it will return the aggregate value based on rows[parent]="fff", when rows[parent]="m" is placed in the filter context, the measure cannot return an aggregate value based on rows[parent]="fff" and will return nothing, I think this may be the problem.
