Measure value format

Hi community,

 

I am having some difficulties to figure out how to get values in the proper format.

In my report I can choose different measures (swith fx) and these measures interact with the charts (see below).

 

 

Now, there is something I do not understand. I have two similar charts (I have copied the first one to build the second one and I just changed the item on the axis. The below picture shows the 2 charts displaying the same measure but in a different format. In the second chart the values is displayed in "billions" which is of course not appropriate.

 

How can this be explained and fixed?

Same chart with identical settings, same measure ... and different result ...

 

 

PS : For the 2 charts, the label data format is "auto" and this is the only option since depending on the measure selected, I can have Thousands or Millions.

    Hi v-juanli-msft and many thanks for your help.

     

    I just found something interesting. The display units change due to the size of the chart. Here is a picture below with the exact same charts. I just copied and pasted the first one and resized the second one and you can see that the units have changed automatically.

    i need to know your data, measures and how your create the visuals.

    Could you share a simple example pbix for me to play with?

      Here is the link to download the PBIX. I have removed charts and pages, however I have kept the original dataset to make sure you have enough data to play with.

       

      The charts are based on the following measure :

       

      Selected Metric = 
SWITCH( TRUE();
	'DIM Metric Selection'[Metric Selected] = "Sales"; [Total Sales];
	'DIM Metric Selection'[Metric Selected] = "Order lines";[Total order lines];
	'DIM Metric Selection'[Metric Selected] = "Packing lines"; [Total packing lines];
