matrix table drilldown only for two columns restriction possibility?
I have created the matrix table visual. With 4 fields(product Name, Customer, City, Country) added into Rows & Sales in value pane.
But i need drilldown option only for the product Name, Customer column. i wan't to restrict the drill down & drill up option for city, Country column (defaultl, It should display all the time).
i'm not able to see any option for restricting the two columns. is there any possibility?
Hi rveerasamy ,
Sorry for that drilldown only for two columns restriction is not possible now.
Maybe you can try to put the city and country to Columns, and drilldown it.
Then you can just drilldown the Rows. In the future, if you want to see the summary of cities and countries, configure it directly on the Dill On function.
If it doesn’t meet your requirement, perhaps you can submit the requirement to ideas and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner : https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas

Hi rveerasamy ,
I think you will need to provide more details on this.
Does all of your columns have a hierarchy?
Please paste some sample data and screenshot for your matrix please. This doesn't help in any way.
Thanks,

rveerasamy , I doubt you can limit that. seem like no possibility.
