Map visualization is blank

Ran into this last night on one individual's machine and I just came in this morning and noticed that it is now happening on two of my reports, including my DIAH report that I know was working last night. The map is just blank, no background map, nothing. Is anyone else seeing this? Just curious before I post it as an issue.

Greg_Deckler I fired up one of my dashboards that contains a map and don't see any issues. It was originally a filled map, but I changed it to a standard Map visual and it populates as expected for either visual.

If you add a new map, does it work?

Issue aside, that's a neat looking dashboard :)

        Hi!

I hope someone can help me with this issue.

I have a very simple test for the map visual,

here is my data, can't get any simpler than this

        CityCount
        McLean, VA3
        Silver Spring, MD5
        Los Angeles, CA8
        Baton Rouge, LA2
        Orlando, FL4

This will shows as a bar chart, but clicking on the map visual, it jsut shows blank.  I have wasted almost two days on this.. I'm not sure what the issue is.  I also changed the city column to City in Data Categorization, added country (USA) to the city name.. still to no avail.  This must be something silly on my end.. I'm not sure what it is..   Please see screenshots.   I also downloaded the PowerBI State of the Community dashboard, which had blank Map issue before, just to test it out on my local, and I am not able to see the map in this dashboard either.  Please see my screenshots.

I’ve downloaded your PBIX and opened it locally, the Map visual display properly.

It’s an interesting dashboard and we can keep an eye on it to see if the blank issue would happen again.

    Best Regards,
