Make graph blank with empty filter

I have a graph and when a filter is selected that has blank data the graph still displays all. How can I make it so that the default is All but when a filter selection is chosen that is has no data a...

    Hi poweruser55 

    you can try the measure like below, when I select "a", then test2 line will disappear.

    test2 = IF(SELECTEDVALUE('Filter'[Column1]) = "a",BLANK(),MIN('Table'[Column1])+2)

Usually, if you don't select the value in slicer, then it will show all data, and if you choose one has no data in it, it won't show data(see below). So could you provide more details for us to check?

Usually we need information below

 (1) a sample file, you can replace raw data with bogus data to protect your privacy.

     or provide some sample data that fully covers your issue/question.

(2) give your expected result based on the sample you provide.

    The visual has data in it which is the problem. I want the graph line to only become blank when the value in the filter is selected. v-xiaotang There is a graph that changes based on 

    I want the solid purple line to dissapear when lets call it filter "A" is selected. Right now when filter A is selected the line is still there and it changes, but I don't want it to do that I want the line to be invisible when filter A is selected. v-xiaotang

        When I say blank I am referring to the line not the data. I want the line to become invisible when "a" is selected. Also the two columns I need don't come from the same data table so this won't work rigjt? amitchandak
