Make a chart not responsive

Hello   I am trying to make a chart so when people click on bars it does not do anything. By default it will highlight (or filter) related charts on a page, but I don't want it to do anything.   ...

    Here is one way.

    1) Insert a rectangular shape and make it the same size (or slightly larger) tha the visual

     2) Under Format, select bring to front.

    3) for both visuals, go to the General options in the format pane and make sure the "Maintain layer order" is active

     4) Darg the shape over the visual and turn off "Fill" and "outline" in the formatting options:

     

    And you will get this:

    Yes, not "pretty", but I believe it's actually the only way at present!
