Lost/Missing Date Hierarchy
Hey everyone,
I am trying to use a date hiearchy, with Import, but I seem to have lost my date hiearchy. It must've been when I changed my date/time format. Any ideas on how to get it back?
Thanks in advance,
Nick
Hi Nick,
It looks like you've chosen "Mark as Date Table" for your 'Date' table, as indicated by the small icon next to the Date column name.
When you Mark as Date Table, you lose Power BI's built-in date hierarchy.
(see here)
To get it back you would have to un-Mark as Date Table, by selecting the 'Date' table and unticking the option on the Modelling tab, Calendars section:
Alternatively, you can create your own custom hierarchy in the 'Date' table and use that.
Regards,
Owen
