Load certain data on request only
Hi community,
I'm running a report on over tickets exported from Atlassian Jira.
Some of the tickets do have "linked tickets" with some basic information attached. This information includes a link to the REST API where I get all information available for this particular ticket.
My idea is to run a report and drill down certain categories. I would then like to "reload" the information required to drill down even further into those linked tickets. For this, the report would need to query the REST API for all tickets included in the current page of the report.
Is something like this possible?
No. You cannot run Direct Query against a REST API data source at the moment. Good idea though.

Unfortunately, This idea is currently not available.It is by design. You can submit an idea on the Power BI Idea Forums and wait for users who share your needs to vote for you to help you implement the feature as soon as possible.

No. You cannot run Direct Query against a REST API data source at the moment. Good idea though.
