Joining Tables - IF statement

Question

I have a user that wants me to join two tables on email, but when it doesn't find any matches to join on phone number.&nbsp; We can't do anything like that in Power Bi, can we??

parry2k&nbsp;I have a table of employee leads met at certain events the company has.&nbsp; It has basic info; name, email, phone.&nbsp; We then want to find out if any of these people filled out applications.&nbsp; The only unique fields on the application we can join on are email or phone number.&nbsp;&nbsp;

HI&nbsp;aashton,
So you mean to display 'Tag' if the current row 'user id' is included in other table and match with conditions? If that is the case, you can add a calculated column at the current table and use it lookup another table records based on current table field values and conditions.&nbsp;
Can you please share some dummy data with table format and detailed compare logics to help us clarify your data structure and test coding formula?

Anonymous&nbsp;Sorry for the late response, I didn't see this reply.&nbsp; What if I make a copy of the Events table, link the first table to Applications on Email, link the second table to Applications on Phone Number.&nbsp; Then when creating metrics for Number of Event Leads, Number of Applications.....Count total Applications from Event 1 plus, the number of Applications from Events 2 but only those records where the email does not exist in Event 1?&nbsp; Is something like that doable?
