Issues connecting to azure postgreSQL database
Hello there,
Through the desktop client I am trying to connect to my organisation's Azure database for postgreSQL from home however, every time I hit connect I get the following error:
"We couldn't authenticate with the credentials provided. Please try again".
With the same credentials: another colleague was able to connect from the office but now can't connect from home whilst two others were able to connect from home. I have tried:
- Adding our IPs and default gateways to the inclusion list on azure
- Allowing ALL IPs on azure
- Logging in with admin credentials
- (In Power BI) Options > Data Source Settings > Global Permissions > Clear permissions
Nothing seems to work and the same keeps being returned. If anyone has any suggestions or has experienced something similar please do let me know.
Thanks!

Thanks for your messages, we tried the steps given and even disabling the SSL requirement but in the end, we found the solution here:
Simply restarting the server was the trick...
"Have you tried turning it off and on again?"

Anonymous , I think there is a step to add ssl certificate into windows, if you do not do that it will not work.
I somehow miss the best article

I am having the same problem.
It started today. I was able to connect with no problems 2 days ago.
Currently I am assuming that the June update has broken the connector
