you need to relate your tables:
and then the measures are easy
RemainingQuantity = SUM( Transactions[Quantity] )
Value =
SUMX(
Items,[RemainingQuantity] * Items[UnitPrice]
)

Hello Gandalf,
If you want to calculate inventory value you should calculate that from the Value entry table. It's more accuarate than the item table.
