Import from Excel Errors

    Hi, Anonymous ,

     

    The Power Pivot model I have imported is not too big.

    I tried to import an excel with 30k rows, but which is also not too big, because I can't find a big data.

    I import the excel successfully.

     

    But I find a feature in Power BI Desktop (File -> Options and Setting -> Options):

     

    I'm not sure if the issue is related to it. You can check yours.

Thanks for your reply Lionel, I have read the link carefully, I don't think my workbook contains anything outside of the scope, it is a simple workbook, it says data model including the measures, KPI etc should all able to convert to Power BI

Have you solved your issue?

I also tried to import a Power pivot model from Excel, but didn't meet any issues.

Maybe you should check the table and the measure which were reported errors,

or delete them, and then import the Power Pivot model again to see if there are errors.

    Thanks for your kind reply Lionel, May I ask how large is your table?

     

    I have tried to remove the measure, but that particular table is still unable to import to Power BI, (the table is about 20k rows). I also tried in my company's computer uploading other excel file, but also unsuccessful for large tables.
